To revolutionise the security industry.
When you’re writing about robots becoming security guards, you really do get a hit of 21st-century reality. Ascento is an exciting new company founded in 2023, and has set out to provide the next generation of security. The security industry is facing a staff shortage due to things like the unsociable hours and weather issues staff can face. This is where the doors have opened for the company to insert its expertise and inventions.
Ascento has acquired its first funding round and has already been able to deploy its device to many customers, including large outdoor warehouses, industrial manufacturing, and pharma campuses. The robot is entirely autonomous, so with this and the issue of staff, it seems a no-brainer that we may soon see Ascento’s robots guarding doors more and more.
