Who you are
- We are looking for driven, capable, visionary, and prudent talents with proven track records of personal, academic, and professional achievement
- You have an undergraduate degree or are in your final year at a top-tier university, MA/MSc is a plus
- You have gained professional experience in an impactful entrepreneurial environment, at a leading technology company, or in management consultancy/ venture capital
- Superb English communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- You have a long-held interest in technology, both personally and professionally
- You have strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize appropriately and effectively
- You are available to work with us for full-time for 6 months at a time
What the job involves
- Sales Strategy & Outreach: Research and identify potential customers, carry out strategic outreach to generate leads, and manage interactions to drive conversions
- Presentation & Proposal Creation: Create compelling sales presentations tailored to potential customers, draft proposals addressing their specific needs, and ensure follow-ups to close sales deals
- Data Management & Analysis: Maintain and manage the customer database, track and analyze sales data to understand trends, and provide reports to the team on sales performance
- Exploring New Channels: Proactively identify and explore new channels, platforms, or strategies to enhance and optimize sales efforts, ensuring our reach and impact continue to grow

After a robust, highly selective vetting process, Merantix identifies founders and collaborates to provide support and funding to scale their businesses. Merantix differentiates itself from typical venture capital firms through its approach. While most VCs invest in established businesses, spreading funds across many companies and taking losses while focusing on winners, Merantix tries to pick winners at the earliest stage.
The launch of an AI Campus in 2021 significantly increased the company's ecosystem, allowing it to explore new fields. Through strategic partnerships with SoftBank and the AI City project in Dubai, Merantix is growing. It has incubated ten successful startups so far and aims to produce even more in the coming years. Merantix is raising a new €100 million fund to co-invest in startups, marking its largest fund yet. This fund will be allocated to co-investing in external startups, investing in incubated startups, and supporting existing investments.
