Who you are
- 5-8+ years of experience in CRM or marketing technology roles, ideally in fast-paced e-commerce businesses
- Deep knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Bloomreach, Braze, Salesforce) and marketing automation tools
- Expert in automating personalized CRM communications at scale, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in customer engagement. Comfortable working with data flows, APIs, and technical troubleshooting
- An analytical thinker who can assess campaign performance and suggest optimizations
- Strong project manager, with the ability to break down complex tasks into MVP solutions and enable effective collaboration across teams
- Bonus: html, scripting (e.g., Jinja2, Liquid), and understanding of consent/deliverability regulations
What the job involves
- For our Marketing Department, we are looking for a seasoned (Technical) CRM Manager
- Own and manage CRM tech workflows, including creation, testing, and cross-team coordination
- Lead setup and optimization of automated transactional communications (e.g., purchase/shipping flows) to make our approach more scalable for 12+ countries
- Initiate a program of A/B testing to maximize CRM efforts
- Ensure clean, scalable CRM integrations and data accuracy across platforms
- Partner with vendors and engineers on CRM tooling, performance, and deliverability
- Support and evolve customer lifecycle journeys across email, push, and in-app messaging to increase customer lifetime value
- Collaborate in and lead cross-functional projects with marketing, engineering, analytics, and product teams
Our take
Buying refurbished electronics can be a fantastic way to give a device a second life whilst saving a bit of cash, but many people are skeptical of doing so. Such items are often sold through illegitimate channels and there is no guarantee that the device will work for long, resulting in people avoiding refurbished goods.
Refurbed provides a refurbished electronics marketplace which is challenging this. They allow users to browse and purchase refurbished devices that come with a minimum of 12 months warranty.
The platform operates based on a monthly subscription fee, and whilst this will present a challenge when alternative marketplaces are free to use, the company has recognised that consumers are happy to pay for quality and warranty. Through its marketplace, the company aims to increase the prevalence of refurbished device purchases, helping to reduce waste and carbon footprints and help consumers save money in the process. 2023 funding is being used to expand the product offerings on Refurbed's circular economy platform.
