Who you are

Strong C++ skills and programming principles knowledge

We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Systems Programmer passionate about broadening the capabilities of gameplay actions and abilities in games
You will be working with others to build the future of how gameplay abilities interact with various engine systems
As a member of the Gameplay Framework team you’ll be responsible for architecting and maintaining gameplay systems, APIs, and features within Unreal Engine that allow our licensees to build the next generation of amazing gameplay experiences
Improve and maintain the Gameplay Ability System and collaboratively design the future of abilities in Unreal
Provide guidance and share knowledge with other teams about how to best solve problems
Improve existing systems to be more performant, scalable, and stable
Build and maintain bridges with other teams within the Engine group to help drive and maintain vision
Diagnose cpu and network performance issues to unlock the full potential of the engine for licensees
Look for ways to push the technology forward in new and innovative ways
