Role
Who you are
- 3-4 years of experience in HR operations and payroll, with an in-depth knowledge of German Labour law framework and practices
- Familiarity with Dutch or other international labor law is a bonus
- Proficient in Google Suites and Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English and at least C1 German language proficiency, both written and spoken
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, process optimization and a keen eye for details
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters and data with discretion and empathy
- Experience working with HR systems, such as Personio, Workday or SAP, etc
What the job involves
- Productsup is looking for an experienced People Operations and Payroll Specialist to join our People and Culture team
- You will play a pivotal role in managing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes within Productsup
- Get up to speed with the company’s structure and people processes
- Become familiar with our HRIS - Personio
- Learn and own our payroll process
- Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. Take full responsibility for administrative paperwork, such as contracts, contract amendments and reference letters
- Utilize HR systems effectively to streamline processes and maintain accurate employee records
- Form solid relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including our People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Managers, Finance Dept, and external HR service providers
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Be responsible for organising payroll across 8 different entities (with external partners)
- Be proficient in HR technology, leveraging tools, platforms to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in HR operations Capable of supporting process optimization that aligns best with our tools and setup
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to enhance the employee experience and recommend process improvements for existing HR processes
- Support with quarterly projects within the People Operations & Business Partner team, for example implementing new softwares or employee programs
- Provide effective assistance to our employees regarding international HR matters and employee relations issues that arise within our global organization
