- 5+ years of experience in product marketing (or equivalent) in B2B enterprise technology
- Proven track record of leading GTM initiatives with clear execution timelines
- Strong storytelling, messaging, and positioning skills
- Experience building sales enablement programs that drive revenue impact
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Strong bias for action—comfortable making decisions and driving outcomes in a fast-moving environment
What the job involves
- We're in need of a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) who operates as the glue between Product, Technology, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams—owning how we position, communicate, and bring our products to market.
- This person should be in proximity to our Mountain View, CA office, as we'd like to have them in the office a few days a week
- This is not a reactive role
- Own & Drive Messaging & Positioning – Develop crisp, compelling messaging that articulates the value of our AI products, grounded in customer pain points and market trends
- Be the Bridge Between Product, Tech, & GTM – Work hand-in-hand with Product and Engineering to deeply understand our roadmap, translate technical capabilities into customer value, and ensure GTM teams are set up for success
- Operationalize Sales Enablement – Equip sales teams with the tools they need—pitch decks, battle cards, competitive insights, and talk tracks—delivered on time and tailored for impact
- Lead Proactive, Timeline-Driven Launches – Define go-to-market strategies for new products and features, aligning stakeholders, driving execution, and ensuring every launch hits the market with precision
- Fuel Content Creation – Develop product collateral, case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership assets that strengthen our market presence and accelerate sales cycles
- Be Market & Customer Obsessed – Stay ahead of competitive trends, customer needs, and industry shifts, ensuring our positioning remains sharp and differentiated
Our take
With around 70% of purchases driven by customer experience, call centres are an important part of many large companies' sales operations. But call centres have a problem retaining skilled agents, with high pressure and workloads leading to a turnover rate more than double other workforces. ASAPP is aiming to fix that by providing AI tools to support call centre agents by reducing their data entry and reporting workload.
ASAPP is by no means alone in this space, with other startups such as Lang, Gong and Cogito entering the AI call-centre market along with growing interest from giants such as Amazon and Google. But it's early start (ASAPP was founded in 2014) and focus on development of its NLP models gives it an edge that it seems set to retain, with a client base consisting of enterprise companies such as jetBlue, EY and American Airlines.
In 2024, ASAPP continued to lead the way in generative AI for contact centers, with the launch of its GenerativeAgent product, redefining customer service by automating 99% of interactions and boosting efficiency and satisfaction. With strong partnerships and a history of success, ASAPP is ready for even more growth.
