Role
Who you are
- We need someone who’s comfortable working in a complex and ambiguous environment, capable of driving impactful value across our customer’s business
- Minimum of 3+ years providing technical support for an enterprise B2B SaaS organization
- Experience working closely with APIs, SSO/SCIM, and tools like Jira, Postman, and Zendesk

- Comfortable working on-screen with customers to overcome product issues
- Experience working with GenAI/LLMs
What the job involves
- You'll report to the enterprise support manager
- We’re looking for an enterprise support agent whose top priority is helping customers succeed with Writer
- You’ll act as a leading voice of our enterprise support function, both internally to the business, and externally to the customer. You’ll own customer issues directly, and also work internally to answer internal requests and increase our ability to fix issues quickly and effectively
- You’ll work cross-functionally with Customer Success & Education, Product, Engineering, and Sales to deliver incredible experiences and help customers maximize value from the platform
- Provide excellent support to our enterprise customers, acting as the subject matter expert
- Triage and resolve customer issues through our ticketing app (Help Scout) and Zoom
- Support Writer team by answering internal product questions/requests in Slack
- Work closely with product & engineering to escalate and resolve deeper technical issues
- Gather and share platform feedback and feature requests with product and design teams
- Resolve subscription and billing issues via Stripe

With the likes of high-exposure company Grammarly accelerating adoption of such tools, a flurry of startups have appeared to offer their own takes. Writer’s angle is to leverage AI as a means of standardizing and scaling both content and communications for business teams. The tool offers autofilling and inline suggestions that keep content aligned with pre-determined company language and style guides.
This branded fine-tuning function distinguishes it from full copy-generation competitors, as well as from Grammarly itself, which is a more generalist copyediting tool. It subsequently caters to major enterprise clients looking to maintain standards across multiple and sprawling teams, and the company has managed to net major clients like Deloitte, Twitter, UiPath, and Accenture.
While AI-related buzz remains solidly around generative AIs like ChatGPT and Bard, Writer's narrow target market - in which it has already found success - supplies plenty of scope to grow, as AI copyediting tools look set to rapidly become content industry standard. With continued new launches and updates to its offerings, as well as an impressive $200 million Series C awarded in 2024, the company is well-placed for further success.
