Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of sales experience in sales/demand generation position. Experience in B2B, beauty, wellness and fitness industry, or SaaS sales a plus
- You have a track record of growing in a self-starting environment, demonstrating your drive, creativity, and intellect
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to understand customer needs, provide consultations over the web and on the phone, and to persuade different stakeholders
- You have awesome customer service skills
- Positive attitude, sense of humor, and open mind
- Resilient. When they hang up or respond negatively, you plow forward with a smile
- An entrepreneurial drive with a hunger to do sales
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to communicate how we differentiate from our competitors
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, SalesForce.com, auto dialers, scheduling software, LiveChat and/or other CRM tools
What the job involves
- At Vagaro, we are looking for a Sales Representative who is self-motivated to achieve revenue targets and excels in customer interactions
- Join our team and play a crucial role in generating leads, managing the sales funnel, and providing top-notch customer service. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for sales, we want to hear from you!
- Lead Generation: Make 50-80 calls per day to generate qualified phone meetings by following up with leads from marketing campaigns, individual prospecting, and various call lists
- Sales Support: Monitor and answer the sales queues for both phone and live chat
- Sales Funnel Management: Ensure the progression of leads and opportunities through the sales funnel
- Product Knowledge: Understand Vagaro’s product offering, its position in the marketplace, and be able to compare and contrast Vagaro with competitors
- CRM Management: Track all lead activity using SalesForce.com
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and maintain reliability by attending scheduled shifts
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned
Our take
For over a decade, Vagaro has been providing salons, spas, and fitness studios a full suite of business management and payment processing tools, including for payroll, payments, bookings, and marketing. Hitting Unicorn status back in late 2021, there has been surprisingly little fanfare around the company, which crept up on the market to secure international footprint across the UK, US, Australian, and Canadian markets
Benefitting from an upswing in business during the pandemic, when its salon and fitness clientele were obliged to double down on digital transformation, Vagaro has won the rust of a strong and extensive roster of independent professionals, and in a time of crisis for the sector proved itself to be business-critical. This strong reputation will help ease Vagaro's planned expansion into other regional markets, as it grows it operations into the future.
