- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant bookkeeping and accounting experience; Experience with accounts payable and payroll is a plus
- Strong understanding of US accounting fundamentals and close processes
- Attention to detail, thoroughness and high level of accountability
- Excel proficiency & Tech interest
- Strong English both oral and written
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, Fortnox or similar accounting systems is a plus

What the job involves
- As an Accountant at Majority you will take an active part in day-to-day and periodic finance tasks, performing tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, and payroll
- You'll be joining a finance team of 5 and will play a critical role in managing and strengthening the day-to-day accounting operations for our US entities
- Own accounts payable and accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and automation
- Manage payroll processing and related reconciliations
- Drive month-end close, including journal entries, reviews, and reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger integrity across all accounting areas
- Handle state and local tax filings and compliance requirements
- Support audits and annual reporting deliverables
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed
