Who you are

Deep experience with JS/TS, especially in Next.js and React.js
Experience building or maintaining apps with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, etc.)
Solid backend knowledge with Node.js and Express
Comfort with creating and consuming REST APIs
Comfortable writing quick scripts or utilities in Python when needed
Good communication and team collaboration
Experience integrating or building AI-powered chatbots or working
With OpenAI APIs

Desirable

Exposure to tools like HuggingFace, LangChain, or Stable Diffusion
CI/CD, Docker, or basic DevOps knowledge
Experience with FastAPI is a plus, but not required
Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud (deployments, cloud functions,
Storage, etc.)
A product-focused mindset: you care about shipping and solving
Problems, not just clean architecture

What the job involves

We're searching for a senior full-stack engineer who is experienced In JavaScript or TypeScript, and has real-world experience building With Next.js
You should be comfortableworking across the stack, But front-end polish and fast-moving product iterations are key

Our take

Numrah is a mobile messaging development company operating out of Saudi Arabia, aiming to become the leading messaging company in the Middle East and North Africa.

Whilst European and Western digital messaging app markets are in the thrall of companies such as WhatsApp, the MENA region is a varied and province-dependent sector. Numrah has been cited as one of Saudi Arabia’s best mobile startups on beststartup.asia, and seems to be turning heads across the region.

That being said, Numrah’s website only has two products - a toolkit for evaluating business ideas and an app-building cost calculator. Whilst these two products may act as an initial introduction and consultancy for Numrah, its client list and achievements to date are either still in stealth mode or are yet to come to fruition. Numrah must build up a public client list and expand its team to achieve the ambitious goals it has set itself.
