- Experience in the RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) space and/or prior start-up experience is a bonus
What the job involves
- As an Operations Manager at Commure, you will play a pivotal role in our Operations team focusing on Revenue-Cycle Management
- You will work across the whole organization (Product, Eng, Operations, Sales, Account Management) to define critical business processes
- You will have end-to-end ownership - ensuring efficient execution and a seamless client onboarding process and driving business metrics
- This is an incredibly high-visibility, high-impact, high-autonomy role that will quickly expand to cover more and more emergent business problem areas
- Successfully navigating and solving our hyper-growth challenges will lead to rapid growth in role and responsibility
- Drive client growth through operational optimization and new growth initiatives
- Drive operational metrics (process throughput, defect rate, etc.)
- Focus on 80% account management and 20% on process improvement/cross-functional initiatives
- Own the day-to-day management of accounts, prioritize and resolve escalations as they arise, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and operations beyond immediate client needs
- Develop and standardize internal processes, reporting, training and documentation as we scale our customer base by 5-10x over the coming 12 months
- Ensure the efficient and timely execution of all essential aspects of internal operations projects
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with key internal stakeholders, including our Product, Engineering, Billing, Launcher, Account Management, and other Operations teams
- Contribute to the design and implementation of systems and processes that facilitate scalability and efficiency
- Breakdown complex, challenging business problems
- Own execution and outcomes
- Understand the business in-and-out to be proactive about solving emerging problems
- Act as the primary point of contact for 12+ accounts representing $1M+ in annual recurring revenue
- Effectively manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and maximizing retention
- 10-20% travel required

Today, healthcare providers are tackling the growing challenge of too much paperwork and too little time for patients. Many existing electronic health record (EHR) systems only add to the problem - digital, yes, but often too clunky, time-consuming, and disconnected from the tools doctors actually need. After reaching unicorn status in 2022 and merging with Commure in 2023, Athelas is now valued at around $6B and continues to expand its platform. Alongside growing adoption of Athelas AIR, the company has recently secured FDA clearance for its Athelas Home device - an AI-powered diagnostic tool that delivers lab-grade blood test results from a fingerstick in minutes. This allows care teams to test, diagnose, and make decisions in a single visit.
