Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience of building and shipping scalable features across frontend and backend
- Expertise in front-end development, with advanced skills in React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies, ensuring the creation of engaging user interfaces
- Solid experience across the full development stack, including Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- A passion for building products that delight users, with a strong product orientation and the ability to prioritize features based on user value
- The ability to quickly learn and adopt new languages and tools, demonstrating flexibility and a growth mindset
- A track record of independence, taking full ownership of tasks and projects, with a commitment to delivering high-quality and impactful work
What the job involves
- Join our team as an experienced Front End/Fullstack Engineer and play a critical role in shaping the future of professional knowledge access
- In this role, you'll develop cutting-edge AI products designed to address the complex challenges
- Your work will focus on creating seamless, intuitive, and impactful web applications, driving the evolution of our product suite
- Lead the development of web applications, from conception through deployment, ensuring they meet our high standards for performance, accessibility, and user experience
- Design and implement APIs and services that power our applications, working closely with backend teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow
- Actively monitor and debug applications in production, identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including product managers, designers, and data scientists, to deliver innovative features and products
- Champion the continuous improvement of our engineering processes, advocating for best practices in code quality, deployment, and maintenance
- Your first 3 months:
- Become intimately familiar with our product architecture, tech stack, and development processes, contributing to ongoing projects and initiatives
- Successfully launch at least one major feature or improvement, receiving positive feedback from stakeholders and demonstrating a significant impact on user experience or product performance
- Establish yourself as a key team player, capable of navigating the complexities of a startup environment while delivering consistent, high-quality work
- Actively engage in learning and mentoring within the team, becoming a go-to technical advisor
