Who you are
- You are a proven account executive who thrives in complex, consultative enterprise environments
- You know what it takes to navigate the legal market and command the room with senior partners, general counsel and C-level executives
- You bring a track record of success selling into AmLaw 150 firms and a deep understanding of what it takes to shape and close large, multi-stakeholder deals
- A proven track record of exceeding quota in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in legaltech
- Consultative selling skills—you ask smart questions, read the room, and translate product features into customer impact
- Experience running complex, multi-threaded deals with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels
- High proficiency with CRM tools and sales metrics
- Willingness to travel to client meetings and events as needed
- Strong business acumen and ability to align sales motions with company strategy
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organized with strong project management skills

What the job involves
- This is a high-impact Account Executive role at the forefront of redefining how the world’s most sophisticated legal teams work
- You’ll be part of a team of AEs selling Clio’s category-defining AI and legal technology solutions to the most prestigious law firms and corporate legal departments in the country—driving change in an industry that’s ready for transformation
- As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the company's growth and elevate execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process, fostering long-term partnerships with clients
- Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations that address specific client needs and use cases to convey the unique value proposition of the Clio Operate’s platform
- Collaborate with the Solutions team to create tailored proposals that align with client requirements
- Guide clients through customised solution recommendations, ensuring proposals align with their business objectives
- Lead contract negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements that meet both client needs and Clio Operate’s commercial goals
- Drive deals to close by aligning with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance with company Policies
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress in Hubspot
- Develop and submit regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates for management review
- Stay up-to-date with trends in the legal industry, particularly in case management and legal technology, to effectively position Clio Operate’s value in the market
- Use competitor and market insights to strategically influence sales positioning and client conversations
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless buyer experience from initial engagement through to solution implementation, including the production of reusable video sales content
- Act as a voice for client needs, providing feedback to internal teams to influence product development and client satisfaction initiatives
- Participate in relevant professional networks and training to remain a trusted advisor for enterprise clients
- Travel as needed (up to 25%) for client meetings, in-person presentations, and relationship-building activities at large law firms across Europe

Modern law firms increasingly manage their work digitally but the lack of a specialized remote solution means that workflows have become fragmented. This leads to legal practice managers having to juggle multiple software solutions across various devices.
Clio provides a legal practice management platform designed for law firms, allowing users to manage billing for legal aid cases, access and manage documents and store files across multiple devices. Whilst other startups are operating in this niche, Clio has uniquely focussed on synchronisation across remote devices and on a wide range of integrations, allowing the user to access information from other industry standard software such as Xero and Klyant from within a single interface.
Clio has raised significant funding and benefited from the COVID-era shift toward cloud technologies. More recently, the company has experienced rapid growth following the integration of AI into its platform in 2023. Alongside this, it surpassed $200M in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in mid-2024 and has since grown to an impressive $500M ARR. The company was valued at $5B following a $500M funding round in 2025, with the investment supporting further AI development and platform expansion.
