Role
Who you are
- As a Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack (with Backend focus), you bring a wealth of experience in Backend development, with a strong focus Java, TypeScript and Node.JS. Knowing Spring Boot is a plus
- You also have experience in front-end technologies such as React, Vue.js or Angular
- Your expertise extends to NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB, and you possess foundational knowledge of SQL databases
- You have a good understanding of deploying and running workloads in the Cloud, e.g., Lambdas in AWS or Spring Boot Apps in a container environment like AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS) or K8s
- You’re well-versed in the AWS ecosystem, demonstrating a deep understanding of computing workloads, essential network functions, and storage operations
- You’re comfortable with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks
- Tools as Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI, Webpack, CircleCI, Postman, PagerDuty, Instana are very familiar to you
- You are experienced in regular conceptual design and implementation of cloud-based APIs and microservices within a distributed microservice landscape
- You have experience working with responsive webdesigns and SCSS and possess understanding of Reactive Programming i.e. RxJS
- You place a high value on clean code, optimizing application performance, and thorough testing in the software development process
- Your communication skills in English are excellent, and while not mandatory, your knowledge of other languages is an added asset
What the job involves
- Join our Product Team as a (Senior) Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack/Backend and help us advance our mission to unlock new value!
- Collaborate with a dynamic cross-functional Product Team, including Software Engineers (f/m/d), DevOps Engineers (f/m/d), and QA Engineers (f/m/d), to drive the development of core services in our eTrusted Feedback Platform
- Dive into TypeScript and Java microservices, leveraging event-driven architecture, all hosted on AWS, as you contribute to the evolution of our cutting-edge platform
- Your role focuses on backend expertise, where you'll create solutions that cater to both internal and external customers. As part of the team, you play a crucial role in breathing life into backend services and APIs, ensuring they adapt and evolve to meet the changing business requirements
- Embrace the "You build it, you own it" philosophy, where you take charge of shepherding changes through every stage until they go live in production. In addition to development, you'll also be involved in monitoring and automating aspects of our infrastructure
- Begin your day by setting up your workspace, whether it's at home or in the office, ensuring it's just right for a productive day ahead
- Open your personalized task manager and immerse yourself in the range of projects you're currently tackling, from short-term tasks to major stories within larger Epics
- Gather with your team in the daily standup to set the stage for a day of collaborative work. Together, you'll review the sprint backlog or preferred agile collaboration tools like Kanban boards
- Dive into your work, focusing on stories, tasks, and bug fixes from the sprint backlog or Kanban board
- This might involve solo coding sessions or collaborative efforts, such as pair or mob programming

Qualifying retailers then benefit from a number of Trusted Shops features including buyer protection, legal security aid, and verified customer feedback.
Trusted Shops has grown substantially since its premillenial conception. Now over tens of thousands of shops use the trademark, including Volkswagen, Shopify, and Decathlon, and it’s established an expanding footprint of subsidiaries across France, Poland, Spain, and Denmark.
Also on offer is an SaaS solution that helps companies manage and analyse customer feedback. This software is likely to prove critical in bolstering Trusted Shops’ position. After all, the eCommerce landscape has changed substantially over the past 20 years. With major trusted retailers like Amazon swiping a substantial market share nowadays, the need for trustmarks to guide the modern shopper is becoming less urgent, and Trusted Shops will need to accommodate this.
