Who you are
- We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Marketing Director to lead and coordinate marketing initiatives across our SaaS organization
- The ideal candidate brings proven digital marketing experience, strong program management skills, and expertise in tools like Asana, MS SharePoint, Salesforce, and 6sense
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing digital marketing programs within a SaaS environment
- Strong track record of coordinating and executing multi-channel campaigns, including SEO, SEM/PPC, display, email, social media, content marketing, and events
- Proven ability to manage marketing budgets, allocate resources, and oversee performance across multiple channels
- Skilled in measuring campaign performance, reporting on ROI, and using insights to refine marketing strategies
- Demonstrated project management expertise with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and meet deadlines
- Experience identifying target audiences and creating compelling campaigns that drive engagement and conversion
- Proficiency in optimizing landing pages, user flows, and conversion funnels for maximum impact
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, multivariate experiments, and data-driven decision making
- Proficient in SaaS marketing tools including Asana, Salesforce, Google Ads, and familiarity with additional platforms like 6sense, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and marketing automation tools is a plus

- We are looking for a marketing director to drive the planning, resourcing and execution of our global marketing plan
- The position reports to the COO, who is acting as the company’s CMO
- This role is responsible for driving marketing effectiveness, optimizing investment returns, and ensuring seamless collaboration between teams including Field Marketing, Business Development, Product Marketing, Marketing Ops, and Content
- Plan, prioritize, and manage cross-functional marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines
- Own and track the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and clear ROI reporting
- Build and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar, coordinating key campaigns, launches, and events
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure the company’s marketing investments are driving measurable business value
- Design, document, and optimize scalable processes for the marketing team to drive efficiency and accountability
- Act as the central project coordinator across Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Business Development, Growth Marketing, and Content teams
- Analyze marketing performance by channel and campaign to identify opportunities for optimization
- Continuously improve systems, workflows, and reporting tools to streamline operations and support agile marketing execution
- Facilitate alignment and collaboration with Sales and Business Development to support pipeline generation and revenue goals
Our take
Piano helps businesses manage subscription, analytics and content personalization to monetize digital experiences. Previously the focus was on traditional publishers like Wall Street Post and CNBC. However, with the declining value of revenue streams like third party cookies, and new platforms like Substack and Clubhouse siphoning off paying customers, the revenue pinch is being felt by a growing spread of digital services.
Piano’s cloud-based offerings run a broad gamut, including experience personalization, paywall management, and data analytics. These are all supported by integrations with various mainstream third-party tools including Google Ad Manager and Apple Pay. This seemingly fragmented approach has not spread Piano thin, however, and it is consolidating its market lead with strategic acquisitions in the publishing space such as AT Internet and SocialFlow.
Following its impressive level of funding and massive growth in revenue since 2019, Piano is developing its product further to provide further publicity and analytics tools for its customers, particularly in newsletters and socials. It is also likely to continue expanding its market share through acquisitions as it builds outs its end-to-end platform for the publishing industry.
