Lead Backend Engineer, Proton

• Demonstrable experience in building high-quality systems
• Experience building scalable solutions with PHP or Python
• Solid understanding of SQL
• Solid understanding of HTTP/REST, including both developing and consuming Web-based APIs
• Proven capability in integrating different in-house built systems with off the shelf products
• Experience in integrating into clients (ideally web and mobile)
• A curious, passionate, and growth-oriented mindset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organisation
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and deliver high-quality software solutions on time and on budget
• Ideally you already had some touchpoints with marketing technology in the past

Desirable

• You'll be responsible for the planning, scoping, implementing, enhancing, and maintaining of all of our marketing tech, especially integrating the different systems and making sure our marketing team has state of the art marketing technology to run campaigns, marketing automation, advertising, social, partnerships, brand, etc
• Your objective will be to build and integrate the different systems, while maintaining the most strict privacy and security requirements
• You will have a concrete impact on the future of the business as a whole
• Research, plan, scope, evaluate and implement our MarTech stack using Python and PHP
• Help and train the engineers of our business units to integrate sdk's we provide
• Own MarTech maintenance, including updates, enhancements, security, and privacy of the systems
• Help teams identify where technology can help increase conversion, efficiency and user experience
• Be a point of contact when it comes to technical solutions in the MarTech space and be the key person when it comes to technical questions about the stack
