Who you are
- This is a strategic and hands-on role—ideal for someone who loves tech, knows how to execute with precision, and wants to make a real impact at a fast-moving startup
- 3–5 years of field/event marketing experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS or developer-first company
- Strong understanding of the sales funnel, pipeline development, and how marketing can support sales success
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and vendors in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with platforms like Salesforce, Hubspot, and event management tools
- Willingness to travel ~40-50% for event execution
- Creative, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver outstanding attendee experiences
- Bonus: Passion for real-time data, open source, or developer tools
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager who thrives on building memorable experiences and high-impact programs that generate pipeline and deepen customer relationships
- You’ll be a key player in our growing marketing team, owning field programs across North America & EMEA to support sales goals and drive brand awareness in key markets
- Plan, execute, and optimize field marketing programs including regional events, meetups, executive dinners, and partner activations
- Align closely with sales, product marketing, and demand gen to support pipeline goals and regional GTM initiatives
- Manage end-to-end event logistics: venue selection, vendor coordination, swag & signage, registration, and on-site presence
- Collaborate with ADRs and AEs to drive pre- and post-event engagement
- Analyze and report on event performance, ROI, and lead quality to continuously improve efforts
- Help identify new field opportunities based on regional data, customer feedback, and sales input
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all field touchpoints
Our take
When dealing with real-time data streaming workloads, the simpler the infrastructure the better. RedPanda was developed as an alternative to the complex industry standard, Apache Kafka (which needed to be used in tandem with ZooKeeper). RedPanda’s Kafka-compatible platform increases businesses’ operational efficiency by allowing them to switch to a single platform.
Formerly known as Vectorized, the company launched the RedPanda in 2021, eventually renaming the company after the product. Its platform is already running on hundreds of thousands of machines, reliably enabling enterprises to continue to run the software that they’ve already invested in while addressing and eliminating past pain points with the status quo of data streaming infrastructures.
With funding under its belt, the company is expanding its marketing, research, and development, increasing its speed, reducing latencies, and adding features such as its RedPanda Cloud service. It is also focusing on limitless data retention, capturing the attention of developers, and resulting in the company’s substantial growth.
