What the job involves

The Senior Backend Developer works as part of an Agile team to design, build and maintain our products
The role works closely with other developers, designers, customers, testers, product owners and project managers to ensure that the products meet the customer expectations and that future development is aligned with the goals and objective of the team
The Senior Backend Developer is responsible for proposing and implementing technical solutions that bring new features to our products
The Senior Backend developer discusses and agrees technical solutions with the customers, product owners, developers and testers, estimates the work required to implement the solutions and then proceeds with the implementation within the proposed estimate and is expected to consistently deliver on tasks and ensure all code developed is clean, clear, testable and maintainable
The Senior Backend Developer provides technical leadership to the team, focuses on continuous improvement of the team's ways of working and is able to guide, coach and mentor other developers in the team
