Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing your design process and projects
- Proficiency in design tools, including Figma
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
What the job involves
- Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to create user-centric designs that enhance the childcare experience for our customers
- Work predominantly on the tiney app for childminders and their families, with some web work for certain flows
- Maintain and grow our internal design system and UI kit, built in Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability across our products
- Translate product requirements, business needs and user stories into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Design prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and workflows effectively
- Conduct user research, work with data, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve customer satisfaction
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet technical requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies
- Tune in to our business goals, helping us achieve our commercial objectives through effective designs with measurable impact
