What the job involves
- We are seeking an Engineering Manager who can lead a team focused on improving support systems and self-service capabilities across Trustpilot
- You'll work across different areas of our platform acting as the biggest enabler of scaling for sustained growth of the company within the SMB market
- Leading a team of around 6 engineers focused on improving self-serve capabilities to improve the internal workflows and systems used by our support and account management teams
- Developing and supporting a great team of skilled and motivated engineers through clear expectations, feedback and regular 1:1s
- Balancing delivery with sustainable engineering practices while managing risks and dependencies
- Building a positive and high-performing work environment based on transparency, accountability, and trust
- Defining and prioritize deliverables for new products/enhanced functionality, coordinating cross-functional scoping and feasibility to support business and customer needs
- Managing and mitigate high-risk elements of initiatives, effectively communicate issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders, escalating where appropriate
- Works across team boundaries to identify and solve support pain points throughout our platform
- Enables customers to perform tasks themselves that currently require manual support intervention (e.g., changing VAT numbers, setting up paid plans on second domains)
- Streamlines processes that currently require support staff to switch between multiple systems like Salesforce and our admin app
- Facilitates cross-functional collaboration to implement solutions that improve efficiency

The company works hard to make sure customers are reading reviews based on real experiences and take an active stance in combating fake reviews. This includes forming a partnership with Veriff to offer identity verification services to the community.
Trustpilot earns a majority of its revenue from companies that subscribe to its services. This enables companies to collect reviews at key moments in customer journeys, showcase their reviews elsewhere, and unlock customer insights. After a successful IPO back in 2021, the company has continued to grow and maintains it status as a trusted tool for consumers.
