Sanctions Compliance Specialist, Block

• 4+ years of experience in Sanctions Compliance performing:
• Transaction analysis and screening
• Investigations
• Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
• Experience submitting OFAC regulatory reports (blocked property and rejected transactions)
• Knowledge of OFAC and global sanctions regulations and industry trends
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage caseloads and queues within service level agreements (SLA)

Desirable

• Perform screening on accounts and transactions from both a targeted regulatory watchlist perspective and comprehensively sanctioned countries perspective
• Review accounts and perform investigations for potential direct and indirect sanctions exposure
• Perform enhanced due diligence on high risk accounts
• Investigate and respond to inquiries from Square’s network and banking partners
• Contribute to projects optimizing the sanctions interdiction filter and alert queue logic
• Provide recommendations to enhance existing procedures and workflows
• Support the OFAC regulatory reporting operations process (i.e.,blocked property and rejected transactions reports)
