Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for an outstanding Senior Data Analyst in Paris to join our growing Core Data Analytics team
- 4+ years of experience in a quantitative role, e.g analytics, consulting, data science, or an equivalent analytical role conducting quantitative analysis on large datasets
- Bachelor’s, Master's or equivalent in a quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)
- Proficiency using SQL to query large data sets, with a strong understanding of statistics and experimentation
- Familiarity with Python strongly preferred
What the job involves
- As a Data Analyst on the centralized data team, you will partner closely with stakeholders across Front, including our Sales team, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Finance and more, to help Front make data-driven decisions across cross-functional initiatives
- Additionally, you will support the growth and scale of our data team by improving the design and structure of our data mart and data warehouse set-up
- Support data-driven decision making within our sales team and across cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Sales and Business Operations
- Identify insights and make actionable recommendations through exploratory analysis across all parts of our data, including prospect, customer, user, financial and internal people data
- Develop and monitor key metrics measuring the overall health of our business
- Support internal data automation and enablement efforts in partnership with the data engineering team by improving the usability of our data mart and warehouse set-up
- Build internal tools that support the analytical needs of functional data analysts
Our take
When a business receives an email from a customer it can set off a chain of forwarded emails across the company, an inefficient process where information (and sales!) can easily get lost. Front exists to change this, consolidating all customer communications into a single shared inbox which can be accessed by teams of any size and completely eliminates the need for internal emails.
With more companies moving to remote working and eCommerce becoming the predominant form of conducting business, Front's product has been enthusiastically received by over 8,000 companies, including Mailchimp, Shopitfy and Convoy. However it is by no means alone in this space, with huge competitors such as Google and Microsoft providing communications solutions and other internal communications tools such as Slack gaining traction. Front may have an edge here though: its unified solution also provides automated workflows, ticketing and analytical tools that are either absent or less well integrated in competing offerings.
In 2022, Front raised investments in a Series D round and achieved unicorn status with a valuation of over $1 billion. It is moving to futher develop its product and increase its market share, hiring on new talent ahead of a possible IPO in the near future. Definitely watch this space!
