Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, possess exceptional leadership and organizational skills, have a passion for creative problem-solving, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment,
- 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Project Manager, preferably in the healthcare technology industry.,
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience or equivalent years of relevant experience required,
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification,
- Experience working in a HIPPA and SOC2 or HITRUST certified organization is preferred,
- Solid knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and tools, such as Jira, Confluence, etc,
- Strong technical background in engineering, with a good understanding of engineering principles and practices,
- Excellent leadership and team management skills,
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team
- This role will be responsible for facilitating the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects while managing the constraints of time, budget, and scope
- This person will also provide guidance for resource allocation, assist their team in upholding agile best practices, manage risks, and provide transparency into the processes and progress of projects
- Participate in department and companywide initiatives and help foster a welcoming environment
- Nurture Janus’ culture of Partnership over Profit, Community, Humility, Curiosity, and Ownership
- Think critically and creatively solve problems within the Janus technology suite
- Utilize our project management tools to provide transparency into project timelines, milestones, and priorities
- Ensure feedback channels and triage processes are followed so that the team can maintain focus on their commitments
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Provide guidance to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery
- Implement and maintain agile project management methodologies and best practices
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during project execution
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards
- Conduct regular project reviews and showcases to identify and address any quality or potential customer satisfaction issues
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Conduct project retrospectives to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and present project reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for future projects
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of project-related materials
