Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of experience as a frontend engineer with strong proficiency in React
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and version control (Git)
- Experience working in Agile environments, preferably in a Scrum team
Desirable
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG)
- Experience with frontend performance optimization techniques
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in React to help us build and enhance our next-generation web applications
- As part of our collaborative team, you’ll create seamless, responsive, and visually compelling user interfaces that drive exceptional customer experiences
- You’ll work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver impactful features on a global scale
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React
- Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to transform concepts into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces, contributing to the technical planning and prioritization of the team's roadmap
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, adhering to best practices in frontend development
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and performance across various devices and platforms
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues to ensure a smooth user experience
- Work with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with our microservices architecture
- Actively participate in code reviews, and drive technical design discussions to foster best-in-class software engineering practices
- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in frontend technologies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Champion the growth of junior engineers by providing dedicated mentorship and actively guiding their technical development
- Act as a key driver of team efficiency by facilitating daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies, ensuring smooth delivery within an Agile framework
- Support the team's growth by driving the technical onboarding of new engineers and contributing to our overall hiring process
