Role
Who you are
- Using Marketing Mix Models to optimize budgets across numerous marketing channels and tactics
- Presenting recommendations grounded in data to senior-level client stakeholders; translating complex data science topics into concrete actionable insights
- 5+ years of client-facing consulting and/or analytics experience working across a portfolio of clients
Desirable
- Experience using a diverse set of attribution methodologies and incrementality experiments (e.g. Multi-Touch Attribution, Last Touch Attribution, Causal Impact, GeoLift etc.) to make recommendations
- Designing and executing experiments to assess the incrementality of marketing
What the job involves
- We're hiring a Marketing Data Strategist to help us build the future of media measurement
- As a Marketing Data Strategist you’ll be advising some of the biggest brands in the world, helping them to optimize budgets, plan experiments and forecast future performance
- Consult with clients to help them identify concrete actions to take to optimize their marketing spend based on the Recast model outputs
- Build client relationships by exhibiting the value of Recast to stakeholders
- Advise new clients on how to configure their Recast model in a manner that drives maximum value for them and their stakeholders
- Provide valuable product feedback to Recast’s product team to address the needs of our clients and help to prioritize the pipeline

Our take
Every year, billions of dollars are wasted on ineffective marketing spend. This leads to consumers being bombarded with product advertisements for things they’ll never purchase, overshadowing the products that might actually appeal to them.
Recast is setting out to change this and build the next generation of media measurement technology. Its platform enables users to access data and analytics about the effectiveness of marketing projects, and adjust their channel spend toward the most efficient mix. On top of this, it can forecast outcomes based on simulated plans - meaning users get a view of the predicted effectiveness of their strategies before employing them.
The company’s product is already being used by some of the world’ leading marketers at companies such as Harry’s, Away, and Curology. With good funding at its back, the company had been building out its engineering and data teams as it pursues solidifying itself as the best automated marketing science platform in the world.
