Role
Who you are
- First and foremost, you MUST always demonstrate a hunter mentality in your sales approach
- Ability and motivation to maximise the potential of assigned territory
- Motivation to help others succeed and to find solutions to their obstacles
- Preferably an understanding of LCA/EPD and their importance in the construction/manufacturing industry
- 3+ years of B2B Sales and Account management experience with a successful track record of growth
- Fast learning skills and desire to improve constantly, using what works
- Customer- and results-oriented attitude and a hands-on approach
- Curious, with the ability to understand a client’s perspective
- Fluency in English as it is our working language
What the job involves
- Join and drive the growth of a global construction life-cycle assessment (LCA) leading SaaS to multiply the business and positive climate impact we have
- We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team, working to decarbonise buildings and construction, currently responsible for around 40% of global carbon emissions
- We are close to doubling our business each year meaning you will play a pivotal part in making this happen within the architecture, engineering & construction (AEC) and Manufacturing sectors
- Join us to help grow a business that plays a key role in delivering a zero-carbon future for us all
- You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and understanding customer needs to help them find solutions that ensure their success with our software
- This is an outbound sales role, focused on engaging with both existing and potential customers to expand our market presence
- In this role, you will work with AEC and manufacturing companies across the UK and Ireland
- You will join a supportive, effective, and mission-oriented team in a flexible, friendly work environment. You will be working with cutting-edge tools and a team of world-class professionals around the globe to solve one of the world’s biggest challenges
- Hunt and close strategic new business sales in the UK and Ireland
- Be part of expanding the offering of LCA and EPD tools in AEC and Manufacturing sectors
- Keep up to date on developments around LCA and EPD standards, PCRs and practices
- Educate prospects on the value and opportunities of LCA tools, EPD and low-carbon construction
- Support our LCA software product development where needed
- Attend industry events around the UK and Ireland when necessary

One Click LCA recognises the urgent need to scale up efforts to decarbonise these sectors, so supplies a Life Cycle Assessment platform for the entire construction value chain.
Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) apply scientific methodology to measure the environmental impact and sustainability metrics for projects and products, but can often be complex to complete. Through One Click LCA's platform, however, users can easily run LCAs, and subsequently report and make efforts to reduce their carbon emissions.
Put simply, the company's tech supports the calculation and reduction of environmental impacts associated with building, infrastructure, renovation projects, and manufactured products. Recent funding will help boost research and development, accelerate enterprise solutions delivery, support global expansion, and enable mergers and acquisitions across the construction and manufacturing verticals.
