Role
Who you are
- 🎯 Build the creative engine behind one of the UK’s fastest-growing, most human brands.
- You have a proven track record creating high-performing paid social creative that delivered measurable commercial impact
- You have deep experience with Meta Ads and a strong understanding of creative performance across paid social
- You can own creative strategy end to end, from insight and concept to testing, iteration and scale
- You understand performance marketing fundamentals and care about outcomes like CAC, ROAS, MQLs and revenue
- You know how to build and run a structured, high-velocity creative testing programme
- You are confident working closely with performance teams and using data to improve creative
- You are comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and being accountable for results
Desirable
- Experience contributing to or growing organic social alongside paid activity
- Experience across TikTok, YouTube, PMAX or other paid platforms beyond Meta
- Experience in a sensitive, trust-based or regulated category (health, finance, insurance, end of life)
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools, production workflows or testing frameworks
- Experience managing freelancers, creators or external production partners
- A strong instinct for brand, tone and storytelling, not just performance
What the job involves
- Remote. Fast growing start up
- Own the creative strategy for paid social across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms
- Turn audience insight, personas and propositions into scroll-stopping ad concepts that drive action
- Build and run a relentless creative testing engine, learning fast and scaling what works
- Partner closely with performance marketing to align creative with commercial goals and funnel metrics
- Translate performance data into creative insight, and creative insight into improved results
- Push creative boundaries while respecting the sensitivity and responsibility of the category
- Deliver a consistent cadence of new concepts, hooks, formats and variations
- Own the creative pipeline from idea to production, QA and handoff
- Use AI tools, templates and smart workflows to increase speed without losing quality
- Contribute to shaping Aura’s organic social voice over time
Our take
In the past, the majority of people have not prepared for death. However, in recent years, an increasing number of people are talking and planning for it as one of life’s key events. Funerals shifting towards meaningful celebration of life parties is a prime example of this.
Aura is an online platform where people facing end of life can leave an online legacy for their loved ones. It was founded in 2017 by Paul Jameson after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, but wanted to embrace life, plan ahead and leave his family in the best position possible.
Since then, it has helped thousands of people tackle their hardships and is now run by Jameson’s family. The company has grown to offer celebration of life funeral planning, end-of-life support and the Aura Circle (a digital community of 30k people). With an important mission, Aura has great potential to build a significant business that impacts lots of people, and has attracted several rounds of angel investment to help it on its way.
