Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for an experienced, high bandwidth Product Manager who excels at both strategy and operational aspects of the role
- Our ideal candidate is an extraordinary cross functional leader, yet still hands-on technical across the modern tech stack, and has demonstrated experience in delivering highly successful SaaS products/platforms
- 7+ years of growing B2B enterprise products, with a proven track record of producing numbers
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud providers, such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Strong foundational level understanding of core networking technologies like routing, switching, and firewalling
- Ability to balance the conceptualization of strategic initiatives with fast and iterative execution
- Enthusiastic and clear communication skills to evangelize with customers and energize our teams
Desirable
- Proven track record of launching a brand new product and driving it to meaningful revenue numbers
- Product experience with physical and logical network device telemetry, particularly around cloud infrastructure and cloud-native network stacks and approaches (policy, automation)
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes environments
What the job involves
- The first assignment will be Kentik Cloud
- Kentik Cloud provides customers the ability to observe their public and hybrid cloud environments, and understand how the network impacts user experience, application performance, costs, and security
- You will drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, feature prioritization, and delivery of the Kentik Cloud product
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, feature prioritization, and delivery of the Kentik Cloud and Kentik Kube products, with an emphasis on compressed timelines and rapid time to market
- Work closely with Engineering & Design to plan, build and deliver these products to market
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Support to make the business of your product successful
- Act as a leader within the company and be a role model for the company culture
Our take
The rise in internet use has resulted in an often unmanageable amount of network traffic across websites, data centers, and most recently cloud services. The resulting mass of information from this is problematic to interpret and thus difficult to use for troubleshooting and engagement insights.
Kentik provides an integrated network monitoring dashboard for enterprises that helps provide visual data illustrations and insights based on traffic. This allows administrators to identify bottlenecks in their networks, whilst providing opportunities to provide cyber protection and monitor customer experiences.
The Kentik dashboard’s approach to network management is unique due to its focus on the visualization of information. This allows insights regarding network limitations and bottlenecks to be understandable and manageable to enterprises regardless of whether staff has knowledge in networking data.
