Who you are
- A strong interest in cryptocurrency and the digital asset industry
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset; able to spot inconsistencies in procedures and recommend solutions
- Knowledge or coursework in financial compliance, finance, or a related field
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with KYC and due diligence processes in the finance sector
Desirable
- Prior internship or work experience in a financial compliance, legal or fintech role
- Knowledge of crypto trading platforms and the challenges faced in the industry
- Experience business processes tools like visio, lucidcharts, figma
- Working knowledge of mobile app platforms and their functionalities
What the job involves
- Assisting in onboarding users to our mobile crypto trading app, ensuring all compliance measures are observed
- Conducting enhanced due diligence and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks for potential and existing app users
- Reviewing and assessing the company's current policies and procedures to guarantee they align with financial regulations and best practices in the crypto trading space
- Collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure that the mapping of rules and processes are seamlessly integrated with day-to-day operational procedures
- Providing recommendations for improvements in onboarding and compliance processes based on findings from reviews
- Staying updated with the latest crypto trading regulations and compliance trends to ensure the app remains compliant
