Who you are
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Advanced Google Workspace and MS Office tools
- Comfortable learning new digital tools (experience with ATS software and LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Driven, go-getter’s mindset, and entrepreneurship
- Ability to handle confidential candidate information discreetly
What the job involves
- Reports to: Global Director of Human Resources
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter Intern to join our People team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the full talent acquisition lifecycle - from sourcing and screening candidates to scheduling interviews and coordinating ATS. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to launch a career in Human Resources or Technical Recruiting
- The internship begins as an unpaid program, offering an immediate pathway to convert to a paid position based on a successful performance review at the designated milestone
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) coordination: Provide ATS administrative tasks - interviewers’ access, candidate records, pipeline building, and application screening in our ATS (JazzHR)
- Recruiting Operations: tracking recruitment metrics, updating job postings, and preparing weekly reports
- Resume Screening: Review inbound applications against basic role requirements to help build candidate shortlists
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers across multiple time zones
- Candidate Communication: Serve as a secondary point of contact for candidates, delivering timely updates and ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
- Candidate Sourcing: Assist in identifying and attracting active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, campus outreach, and employee referral networks
- Communicate with the Recruiter on follow-up tasks & updates

ArangoDB is an open-source database system that creates products dedicated to simplifying the work practices of developers, architects, and data scientists. It allows businesses to store graph data natively across on-premises and cloud databases.
ArangoDB Oasis, arguably the company's most popular product, combines a search engine, document storage, and graph databases in one convenient and easy-to-use platform. The database can be easily scaled and is suited to both big data and real-time applications. The company claims several notable enterprise users, including Cisco, Juniper Networks, Infosys, and Barclays.
One limitation that ArandoDB faces, however, is the increasing number of NoSQL vendors who provide a similar service to its products such as Elasticsearch, Apache Cassandra and MongoDB. In order to beat this competition ArangoDB has focused on graph databases as its niche and regularly updates its products with new features that are reactive to industry developments. It plans to focus on entering new markets in the coming years.
