Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a strong self-starter with a curiosity for our product, market, and target audience
- Additionally, you need to be an exceptional communicator, demonstrate deep empathy towards your target audience, and be a strong operator who is able to context switch to support a variety of projects and teams
- 3-5 years of product marketing experience at a B2B technology company
- 2-3 years of cybersecurity or Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
- Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
- Demonstrated technical fluency – the candidate must have the curiosity and ability to learn new technologies, technical concepts, and explain it in a compelling way to audiences that are not subject matter experts
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage input from multiple stakeholders
- Experience at a startup or early-stage company
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
What the job involves
- Beyond Identity is looking for a talented Product Marketing Manager to help develop the foundational assets to our go-to-market motion across all product lines, deliver high-impact launches, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver differentiated messaging and positioning
- Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will help bring our messages to the market through marketing, sales, and partner collateral
- Own content creation: blogs, whitepapers, web pages, sales collateral, email templates, and press releases
- Turn complex technical product insights into targeted, compelling narratives
- Work cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and partnerships teams to execute on product launch plans
- Enable the sales team and partners with assets and training
- Drive segmentation-specific messaging and differentiated positioning of Beyond Identity’s product portfolio
- Build compelling case studies with customers
- Collaborate with demand generation, design, and operations teams to define and execute successful marketing campaigns
- Track and measure the performance of marketing assets and use data to inform optimizations and future efforts
Our take
Remembering loads of different passwords can be difficult, which is why devices have begun to use biometrics instead. But to log in to many websites and apps, a password is still necessary - which is where Beyond Identity comes in.
Combining biometric technology with digital authority certification, Beyond Identity allows secure enclaves to grant access to not only a device but also the websites and apps used on that device. Its aim is to use this system to provide a password-free user experience that is not only seamless but more secure.
Its a valuable offering which has the company attract customers such as Snowflake, Roblox, Cloud Plus, and Paya Holding. It has also raised huge amounts of funding and demonstrated strong growth - in part fuelled by increasing demand from the shift to remote working. For now, Beyond Identity continues to expand operations and deliver new features such as "RealityCheck", which addresses AI deception in digital communications.
