Who you are
- 6+ years of progressive operational experience and 2+ years of experience managing managers
- Demonstrated success in leading and motivating leaders and managing high-performing teams
- Proven ability to translate business objectives into actionable operational strategies and scalable processes
- High proficiency in data analysis and using operational metrics to drive large-scale decisions
- Exceptional executive communication skills (written and verbal), capable of presenting complex operational concepts
What the job involves
- The Senior Manager, Expert Insights is a pivotal, high-impact leadership role responsible for aggressively securing and expanding call volume within our customer base and driving operational excellence
- Reporting to the Director, Expert Insights, you will be accountable for coaching and developing a high-performing team to meet ambitious performance goals and increase customer engagement
- Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong decision-making skills to navigate complex internal and external challenges, and the ability to forge robust cross-functional partnerships to execute strategic initiatives that propel the business forward

- End-to-End Ownership: Demonstrate complete ownership of projects from inception to completion, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks with compelling and effective solutions
- Efficiency & Improvement: Continuously improve processes by identifying inefficiencies and working collaboratively with internal partners to design and implement enhancements

Manual research can be a serious pain: financial analysts spend hours every week searching through PDFs one keyword at a time, just to find a single usable insight. To remedy this, AlphaSense has built a smart search engine that slashes research time for analysts, using thousands of sources and a semantic indexing layer that can effectively query finance-specific language.
As a disruptor and market leader in this field, AlphaSense has few direct competitors, being most closely compared to Wolfram Alpha or LexisNexis. It helps that its tools are undoubtedly effective and valued by knowledge professionals: the company counts about 85% of the S&P 100 as customers and is trusted by J.P.Morgan, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Google, among other major enterprises.
Having raised a large amount of funding over 2022 and 2023, AlphaSense has moved quickly to double down on its expansion in European markets, opening an office in Berlin to support this. With 2024 seeing investment from Singaporean EDBI, it has now set its sights on the Asia-Pacific region. As business intelligence will remain key for enterprises as they compete for market share, AlphaSense is well-placed for additional future growth.
