What the job involves
- Riskified is growing our Business Development organization and we’re looking for a strategic problem-solver to join our Super Enterprise team
- This is not your typical Business Development opportunity as we focus on generating leads and nurturing long-term engagement with some of the largest, fastest growing companies in the Fortune 500 and beyond
- Through a combination of research, creativity, and industry expertise, the Riskified Business Development team takes a consultative approach to prospecting at the top of the lead funnel and owns early stages of the sales discovery process
- High-achieving Business Development reps specialize in identifying a target company’s needs, challenges, and can tailor their outreach accordingly to key decision makers
- They excel at networking, where they gain plenty of experience by attending multiple conferences, trade shows, and other events across the year
- More than anything, we are seeking bright, driven people who are curious about business to join our team and help drive revenue – making a direct impact on our growth
- Generate quality sales opportunities through proactive, strategic prospecting and networking
- Research industries and companies to find the key decision makers then establish, develop, and nurture relationships with those decision makers
- Uncover prospect’s challenges through thoughtful sales discovery to determine how Riskified can provide a solution to business problems
- Apply proven sales approaches, techniques, while developing your own skills
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other virtual/in-person events

Digital fraud is a huge problem in eCommerce, and identifying insecure transactions is becoming increasingly difficult. A notable example is in the airline industry, with ticket-orders being declined due to false identification of a fraudulent transaction.

The company was acquired by PayPal in 2008, and Eido joined PayPal's risk department, later moving to its automation department. He was then recruited by BillGuard and worked in the analytics department until he founded Riskified in 2012.

(Co-Founder & CTO)Assaf worked as a Researcher for Nokia alongside his studies. He then became the Head of Research Technologies at Kinetic Global Markets.
