Who you are

What the job involves
- As our Product Manager, you are responsible for shaping the product execution, and support fundamental strategic decisions
- This includes guiding the in-house engineering team, managing stakeholders and building deep relationships with our most important customers and understanding their needs
- You will have wide responsibility on the existing data collection product, as well as developing new products in the area of platform-based data sharing for enterprises from scratch
- Driving the direction of the core product of Kaiko Systems, working together with top-notch senior engineers to continuously improve and create innovative new products
- Developing features, user stories, and roadmaps
- Performing qualitative interview and quantitative surveys to iterate on user personas, identifying and resolving customers pain points, and using the insights to develop product strategy
- Managing the product roadmap and development priorities in close collaboration with the CEO and other departments
- Gathering and managing product feedback through surveys, concept testing and analytics tools
- Designing, monitoring and reporting product KPIs
- Develop and strengthen customer relationships across new and existing segments
- Supporting the customer success process and identify upsell opportunities

Around 90% of goods are traded over the sea, but the maritime industry has been somewhat left behind by the digital transformation that has swept through land-based logistics and most other industries. However, this situation is starting to change. Flagship Founders recently closed a seed funding round which was led by F. Laeisz, a major shipping, trade and insurance group. It will use this capital to build out its team and to continue to support its portfolio of startups. As the maritime industry moves to adopt digital improvements to its operations to drive efficiency and cut waste, Flagship Founders is in an excellent position to bring the digital revolution to a sector in need of change.
