Financial Analyst, Openly

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required
• 1+ years of related experience preferred
• Strong data and analytical skills
• Ability to develop machine learning model with Python
• Experience in using MS Suite and/or Google Workspace
• Ability to influence and collaborate with people at different levels
• Results driven with strategic mindset and ability to execute
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

• We are searching for a financial (Risk) analyst at Openly
• This opportunity will sit on the Finance team to play a significant role in assessing financial performance and creating our risk framework and risk culture
• This role reports to VP, Reserving and Risk Management and would be integral to Openly’s continued success and maturation as an innovator in the insurance industry
• Assemble information from internal and external source for loss reserving analysis and risk horizoning and benchmarking
• Build, maintain and improve loss reserving models
• Support the development of a risk-management framework and nurture risk-aware culture at Openly
• Collaborate with business partners to identify key enterprise risks and develop control framework to be implemented by various internal stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and manage various reporting and meeting requirements to remain in compliance
• Perform ad hoc sensitivity analysis and stochastic modeling in support of risk assessment, liquidity planning, economic capital requirements, etc
• Support the effort in obtaining Best's Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR) and S&P Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Level III Accreditation
