Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; PhD a plus
- 5+ years of industry experience developing AI and Machine Learning systems in production
- Experience building, deploying, and optimizing ML models using techniques like RLHF, Deep Learning neural networks, and anomaly detection
- Experience optimizing applications powered by LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, and Prompt Engineering; experience in Sentiment Analysis a plus
- Proficiency in programming with Python and complex analysis of large datasets using technologies like SQL, Snowflake, etc

What the job involves
- Twin Health’s product is an innovative Metabolic Health platform that uses our patented Whole Body Digital Twin technology to drive better outcomes for our members and clinical team
- We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our Core AI team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers to take our AI-driven product to the next level using the latest techniques in Gen AI, reinforcement learning, and deep learning
- Develop and optimize AI-powered systems to create impact for our members, partners, and overall business
- Deeply understand member behavior and sentiments through continuous data analysis
- Build and improve ML models to drive behavior change to achieve sustained improvements in metabolic health for a diverse member base across diabetes, weight loss, etc
- Use techniques like reinforcement learning / RLHF to continuously improve our “N of 1” recommendations and achieve better outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our clinical, medical research, business analytics, and engineering teams to design end-to-end AI-powered experiences for our members and clinical teams and achieve metrics-driven impact

Our take
Metabolic Syndrome affects over a billion people worldwide, and can massively increase the risks of heart disease and stroke. Although the root cause is known to be differences in metabolic performance, each case is so complex and unique as to stifle investigation into preventions and treatments.
Twin Health aims to combat this problem with its Whole Body Digital Twin. Leveraging AI and wearable sensors, the system creates a dynamic digital representation of the individual’s metabolism. Both patients and doctors can then use this to inform decisions about nutrition, sleep and activity that could help reverse or prevent a variety of chronic metabolic diseases.
Importantly, Twin Health's work is supported by high-quality research that has been peer-reviewed and published in leading journals. This science-first approach supports impressive results such as over 70% of users with Type 2 diabetes reporting a remission of symptoms at 12 months into the program.
