- We’re hiring an Outside Sales Retail Account Manager, Heavy Equipment at our rental facility in Miami, FL, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction

- Industry knowledge (rental or construction equipment) and experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required
- You’re quick on your feet and willing to solve any problem thrown your way
- You can multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
What the job involves
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Immerse yourself in the EquipmentShare and certain construction equipment brands to serve as an advocate and expert
- Build solid relationships with construction equipment buyers and prospective clients in your region. We want folks who value long-lasting relationships with their customers—not transactional interactions
- Quickly become an EquipmentShare heavy equipment sales expert to educate prospective customers on the benefits of purchasing from an EquipmentShare dealership location
- Fiercely care for your book of business. That means nurturing, managing and informing your relationships to keep them up-to-date on new promotions and fulfill their unique equipment needs
- Be the person your customers can count on to quickly answer questions and thoroughly resolve issues
- Serve as a can-do leader when it comes to potentially managing sales pipelines for other nearby markets in your region
- Think outside of the box (we know it’s a cliche at this point, but we mean it) to develop new sales strategies and techniques that grow your business and the company’s footprint
Our take
Innovation in automated equipment presents opportunities for increased efficiency for contractors, but this comes at a huge financial cost. Furthermore, whilst this equipment is often highly valuable for the completion of a contractor task, the equipment may remain unused for a significant time after task completion.
EquipmentShare provides a telematics platform for contractors called ES Track, a service that facilitates the rental of under-utilised equipment. This is achieved by using the software to determine usage statistics of a piece of equipment, providing insights into financial opportunities a contractor may have in terms of equipment rental.
In addition to presenting itself as the ‘Airbnb of contract equipment’, the company presents further potential by focusing on transforming existing equipment to be fully autonomous. 2023 funding was used to expand its reach, and in combination with providing rental insights, EquipmentShare’s approach is uniquely focused on finding money-saving opportunities for contractors. Its next step is to rally for an IPO, for which it aims to raise more than $777 million.
