Who you are
- Excellent written skills in English
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Ability to reach out to the right person to collect information

What the job involves
- Gathering information from subject-matter experts and developing, organizing, and writing procedure manuals, technical specifications, and datasheet documentation
- Testing and updating existing documentation
- Adhering to and updating in-house style guide and templates
- Creating them when inexistent
- Producing high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Analyzing existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Creating and maintaining the information architecture
- Developing and maintaining a detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
- Working with internal teams on product and documentation requirements
- Working with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
- Working closely with the design team to evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement
- Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides
Our take
Innatera is a company developing ultra-low-power neuromorphic AI chips for sensor technology. Essentially, this means it is trying to instil sensors with a human-like ability to perceive their surroundings, by mimicking the mechanisms that the brain uses for sensory perception.
Sensors powered by Innatera's tech should be able to enact real-time analysis of data to detect and identify embedded patterns. For example, they would be able to distinguish spoken words in audio data. This, of course, represents an impressive development and the next generation of sensors.
Another impressive feat is that Innatera's chips require very little power, which is why they can be employed at the sensor edge. With a myriad of potential applications, it's no surprise the company has raised substantial funding which will be used to accelerate its progress and drive further innovation.
