2:1 Undergraduate Degree: An undergraduate degree with a minimum 2:1, especially in a technical field like Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Information Systems

What the job involves

Working for a highly regarded energy company, the Software Tester would work as part of a software development team
In this key role, the Software Tester would be responsible for ensuring the software’s reliability, functionality, performance and overall quality, before it is released to users
This role requires a unique combination of technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, problem-solving acumen with attention to detail, and customer-centric focus
Successful applicants will communicate with key stakeholders and work closely with software developers, business stakeholders, project support teams and end users
You'll embark on a journey of continuous learning, gaining industry-accredited qualifications, whilst getting hands-on experience working full time on site directly with prestigious FTSE100, 250, and 500 organisations
You will work with one client, delivering high quality outcomes during your Grayce tenure, before transitioning to working directly for them
Thrive under the guidance of our experienced Delivery Managers and Technical Trainers
They’ll be your go-to, offering support, insights, sharing experiences
Starting as an Analyst with the potential for significant salary progression, you will pick up invaluable skills and complete a minimum of 6 industry recognised accreditations during your time on the development programme
Accreditations: CompTIA, SFIA level 3&4, Agile Practitioner and CMI Level 5 plus flexible training budget
