Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate has led product initiatives within fast-moving, real-world marketplaces where supply and demand must be continuously balanced, operational efficiency is critical, and user experience directly impacts growth
- They understand how to build and optimize multi-sided marketplaces that maintain healthy economics, drive sustained engagement and retention, and deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes at scale
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience building products for the gig economy, focused on supply-side onboarding, lifecycle management, user experience, quality, and other aspects
- Strong SaaS UI/UX design sense and product-building experience
- Experience working closely with enterprise customers and channel partners in the enterprise software industry
- Educational background in computer science or related engineering practice
Desirable
- 8+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years working on marketplace, logistics, supply/demand, or growth systems
- Experience from a marketplace or platform-based organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in metrics-driven decision-making, experimentation, and portfolio tradeoffs
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with data science and engineering to deliver scalable, measurable outcomes
- Deep intuition and rigor around user behavior, incentives, and marketplace mechanics
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced product manager to own our expert contributor product ecosystem
- In this role, you will define product strategy, build features, and run experiments that optimize marketplace outcomes, driving matching efficiency, fulfillment quality, conversion, retention, and unit economics
- You will partner closely with Operations, Research, Engineering, Analytics, and GTM teams to refine marketplace dynamics across supply, demand, pricing, incentives, and quality
Our take
Demand for AI is increasing in almost every industry, but the machine learning that fuels it is tedious to set up. In order to train machine learning algorithms, training data must be labelled manually, and this contributes to expenses in time, money and resources when integrating AI within a business.
Snorkel AI develops programmatic approaches to data labelling in order to automate the setup process of machine learning and decrease the required timeframe for a business to begin providing AI services. In addition to these automated data categorization services, the company also integrates data training, management, and analysis into a unified AI-deployment platform.
The complex computer science behind AI setup has resulted in many businesses without computer science backgrounds being left behind, and Snorkel AI has set this as their target audience. And recently, the company raised some serious funding which it plans to use to expand the company;'s engineering, research, and go-to-market efforts.
