Role
Who you are
- 4-6 years of experience in user acquisition, growth marketing, or performance marketing at a high growth consumer company, startup, or agency
- Deep hands on experience managing paid social campaigns, with demonstrated expertise in Meta and TikTok ad platforms
- Strong background in mobile app performance marketing, including familiarity with app install campaigns, MMPs, and iOS privacy frameworks (SKAN, ATT)
- Strong analytical foundation with fluency in core growth and efficiency metrics such as CAC, ROAS, LTV to CAC, and blended performance
- Proven ability to translate data and experimentation into actionable optimizations and strategic recommendations
- Comfortable operating in fast paced, ambiguous environments and making quick decisions with imperfect information
- Naturally curious, with a strong inclination to question assumptions and validate ideas through testing and data
- Proficiency in Excel and/or SQL. Experience with Looker or similar analytics tools is a plus
What the job involves
- Reporting to the Director of Growth, Digital, this role is responsible for executing and optimizing Rocket Money's paid social acquisition strategy
- You will be a key individual contributor within the Growth organization, directly owning performance outcomes across our highest impact paid social channels
- You will manage the day to day execution, analysis, and optimization of paid social campaigns, with deep hands on experience in mobile app performance marketing across Meta, TikTok, and other emerging social platforms
- You will also contribute to creative strategy, audience development, and testing roadmaps that drive measurable growth
- This is an opportunity to make an immediate, measurable impact on Rocket Money's growth. We are in a hyper growth phase, and as a growth marketing manager, you will be expected to accelerate velocity, unlock new scale, and continuously push the boundaries of paid social performance
- Own the hands on execution and optimization of paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other paid social platforms, with a focus on mobile app install performance
- Drive performance through expert management of campaign structure, bid strategies, audience targeting, and creative testing within privacy constrained environments
- Conduct deep creative analysis and collaborate with creative teams to develop data informed briefs, iterate on winning concepts, and scale top performers
- Evaluate performance through multiple attribution lenses, including SKAN, last click, incrementality, and modeled approaches to inform optimization decisions
- Build and manage structured testing roadmaps to validate new audiences, creative formats, and platform features
- Collaborate with Data, Product, Engineering, and CRM to improve measurement, troubleshoot tracking issues, and unlock new growth levers
- Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and emerging paid social opportunities to maintain a competitive edge
- Provide clear, actionable reporting on channel performance and communicate insights to stakeholders across the organization
Our take
Managing finances has become increasingly difficult in the last couple of decades, despite access to online banking and other financial apps. The mass of subscriptions, standing orders and utility bills the average American is subject to ultimately makes it difficult to assess and manage their finances within one place.
Rocket Money (formerly Truebill) provides a mobile application that includes a variety of tools that aim to simplify financial management. Tools include an automatic subscription tracker which aims to increase transparency and simplicity for canceling unwanted subscriptions, in addition to monthly spending analytics and budgeting plans.
Whilst there seems to be an app for just about every form of financial management, Rocket Money has taken much-needed action by unifying everything into a single app. The company initially focused on financial management tools, it's now branched out to more direct financial tools such as utility bill comparison services, autopilot saving and paycheck advance loans.
