Who you are
- We are seeking a driven, eager to learn Lead Development Intern to join our LDR Team
- As an LDR Intern, you will help identify and qualify potential customers, support pipeline generation, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive growth
- We want someone who is a self-starter, passionate about technology, and excited to learn something new
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in sales, marketing, and cybersecurity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with outreach and engaging with new people
- Organized, detail-oriented, and curious
- Hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech environment

What the job involves
- Summer 2026: June 2026 - August 2026 with potential to extend part time in the Fall
- Applications will be reviewed, and candidate outreach will start in January 2026
- This internship program offers hands-on, project-based experience, providing a meaningful and impactful experience
- We ensure that each student is mentored and supported during their journey with Barracuda
- You'll research and identify potential leads using internal tools and external platforms
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and social media to engage prospects
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
- Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns and events
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and contribute to reporting effort

In an increasingly online world, with email hacks and data leaks becoming more and more common, cyber security is more important than ever. Barracuda aims to provide this with its comprehensive suite of security software.
It offers a number of packages, focusing on email security, app and cloud protection, network security and data protection to provide end-to-end coverage for its customers' IT operations. It invests heavily in R&D and product development to keep on top of new (and increasingly prevalent) email phishing scams, as well as incorporated XDR capabilities to close security gaps generated by the rise in hybrid and remote working.
Barracuda is an established player within the cyber security market with over 200,000 enterprise customers including brands like Shiseido, Carrefour and Accor. It was acquired in 2022 by KKR, a global investment firm, and is using the investment of capital to further improve its product, grow its team and expand its marketing reach.
