Who you are

5+ years of hands-on UA experience, ideally in gaming, consumer apps, or mobile-first products
You're comfortable doing both the creative and analytical sides of UA — from producing ads to managing budgets
You have a strong grasp of UA metrics (CPI, ROAS, LTV, retention, etc.) and know how to balance growth with efficiency
You’ve worked in a startup or small team before — you're used to figuring things out and running with them
You’re curious, creative, and not afraid to try things that haven’t been done yet

What the job involves

We’re looking for someone to fully own and drive user acquisition
You’ll lead everything: from building creative to managing the accounts, analyzing performance, and exploring new channels
This is not a "run-the-playbook" kind of role — we’re looking for someone who’s excited to experiment, move fast, and find growth levers beyond just the usual suspects
Develop and lead Chonk’s user acquisition strategy across multiple paid channels (TikTok, Meta, Google and whatever channels you believe will work)
Independently create and iterate on ad creatives
Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and optimize for performance and ROI
Explore and evaluate emerging channels, platforms, and growth opportunities
Own budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for UA performance
Work cross-functionally with product and community teams to align on growth priorities

Our take

In a time when games such as Minecraft have made open-world gaming far more collaborative, Soba takes the MMOG (massively multiplayer online game) and adds a whole new layer of creativity. Using Soba’s no-code platform, gamers can create their own PC and mobile games to add to the community, whilst playing the games created by others, all without having to have a background in coding or app development.

With the intention of turning gamers into game makers, the accessibility of Soba’s powerful no-code tools is a large part of its appeal and has led to substantial seed funding from the likes of Lightspeed Venture Partners. Another facet of Soba is that users can monetise the games they create, generating an economy within the platform to incentivise creativity.

With its 2022 funding, Soba plans to bring its platform out of testing phases and will no doubt have little trouble entering the $200 billion valued global gaming market.
