Role
Who you are
- You'll need a strong background in content creation, including video, images, and written content, with essential social media management skills
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainable transportation and skilled at creating compelling content that resonates with both B2B and B2C audiences
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
- 1- 3+ years of professional social media management experience with a proven track record of growing engagement and followers
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in content creation across multiple formats (video, images, written content)
- Proficiency with social media management tools (such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.)
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail
- Experience with social media analytics and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Knowledge of current social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Graphic design skills are a plus (experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools)
- Experience with video production and editing is highly desirable
- Passion for sustainable transportation and urban mobility is preferred
What the job involves
- We're seeking a creative Social Media Specialist to join our growing Marketing team
- Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will be responsible for executing our social media strategy across all platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive subscriber growth
- Implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand voice and business objectives
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging channels
- Plan and execute social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and Product to ensure brand consistency and support business objectives
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic posting
- Leverage influencer partnerships to expand our reach
Our take
Two-wheel electronic vehicles have gone through an explosion recently, with hundreds of different varieties in each category available. While the benefits of electronic light vehicles are obvious - convenience, low running costs, environmentally friendly - it can be difficult for people to find the right one for them.
Ridepanda, a company of self-described e-ride evangelists, was founded to be a one-stop shop to help anyone find and purchase their ideal ride. Launching as the first online marketplace for micro-mobility, it not only curated a wide range of vehicles but also supplied a range of support services such as repair assistance and insurance.
After discovering the D2C market was not an easy one, Ridepanda pivoted to serve enterprises who want to offer their employees e-bike benefits. This began with a partnership with Amazon, and has since seen the company secure the likes of Google, Intuit and Expedia as customers. The company hopes to build on this success with further expansion plans as the demand for electric light vehicles continues to grow.
