Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years in analytics, ideally within DTC, eCommerce, or CPG
- Expert SQL skills; proven experience working with large-scale datasets
- Hands-on experience with modern analytics tools such as Snowflake, Looker (LookML), Hex, and Git workflows
- Experience with Python for analytics is a strong plus
- Experience with A/B testing, digital marketing, or subscription analytics preferred
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Demonstrated ownership of projects from scoping to delivery, including documentation of processes and findings
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Analytics Engineer to own reporting, insights, and analysis at Blueland
- In this role, you will be a key partner to Growth, DTC, Amazon, Retail, Finance, Operations, and CX - tracking performance, designing reporting frameworks, and delivering actionable insights that inform both strategy and execution
- You will own analyses from ideation through delivery, including scoping, building, and documenting methodologies, to ensure repeatability and clarity
- This role reports directly to the Director of Data Management & Analytics
- Own and prioritize the analytics request pipeline, ensuring high-quality outputs
- Build and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards (primarily in Looker) to enable self-serve analytics across teams
- Conduct performance tracking and present insights to leadership on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Partner with cross-functional teams on A/B testing, forecasting, and ad hoc analyses
- Lead deep dives into acquisition, retention, merchandising, and CX performance to uncover opportunities and risks
- Define and document key business metrics, ensuring consistency across reporting
- Document analytical approaches, data definitions, and processes to improve repeatability and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with the Director on data governance, data quality, and stack improvements
