Who you are

Strong experience in Python programming with either Django or Flask framework, with ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards
Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
Solid understanding of web development concepts and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience in database and caching technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
Strong experience in unit testing, TDD
Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
Familiarity with Pandas, Numpy, Scikit, Tensorflow

Desirable

Experience with any cloud technologies (we’re using AWS)
Experience in code management (Git, Bitbucket)
Understanding of software development principles, including agile methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address technical issues effectively
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, communicate effectively, and contribute to group discussions and problem-solving

What the job involves

As a Back End Engineer, you will primarily work with Flask or Django frameworks to build robust and scalable Python applications
Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver high-quality code
You will have the opportunity to build and develop a frontend skillset within JavaScript and React while contributing to the development of software solutions that meet our clients' needs
