Who you are
- 1-3 years of proven experience in sales
- Ability to own strategy for growing install base and selling to white space accounts in the federal government
- High aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and cross-functional influence both internally and externally
- Strong ability to understand an enterprise and develop key points of contact in multiple departments across multiple levels of leadership
- Research and a data-driven approach to account planning and proactively identify opportunities from business-led discussions
- Self-starter who is invested in the team's success and can work in a startup environment
- Highly technically curious and creative, enjoys solving problems from scratch with first principles

What the job involves
- Our Account Development team is the growth engine for Instabase
- The AD team is uniquely responsible for helping the largest global enterprises push their pace of innovation by identifying new opportunities and challenging ordinary thinking
- Our Field team is strategically expanding our client base in the Federal Government segment, and we're fueling its future growth with ADs who are intentional about a career in sales and driven by personal growth and impact
- As a Federal Account Development Representative, you will be responsible for discovering potential customers’ unique challenges and creating new business opportunities for the Instabase Federal Sales team
- Account planning & mapping across Federal accounts to define a prospecting approach
- Discover potential customers’ unique challenges and own new business opportunity creation for the Instabase Field team
- To conduct high-level discovery calls and work as part of a selling team focusing on initial relationship development
- Lead initial demonstrations of the AI Hub platform and drive use case discovery and requirements gathering independently
- Educate customers on how the AI Hub platform can benefit them financially and professionally
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Attend events (online and physical) to meet with prospective customers and advocate and evangelize Instabase’s products
- Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
- Qualify inbound leads based on use case, size, and business pain to help generate early-stage opportunities
- Lead end-to-end transactional deals that originate inbound for the AI Hub Commercial segment

For example, a bank can quickly build an app that can automatically verify customer income in a fraction of a second by combing through documents such as camera pictures or scans of payslips, tax documents, bank statements, and other similar documents submitted by the customer.
The platform comes equipped with the tools for reading documents, data extraction and classification, natural language processing, and optical character recognition. It's designed to enable creators, developers, and organizations to quickly build complex business applications based on their needs.
Instabase also offers an app store, a growing marketplace of pre-packaged business apps for different industries, such as Income Verification, Adverse Media Analysis, Identity Verification, Trade Finance, Contract Analysis, and Financial Spreading.
