Role
Who you are
- 5+ Years experience in the HR / employee benefits / financial wellbeing tech space
- Proven success owning and smashing a revenue target in HR / employee benefits / financial wellbeing tech space
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Global mindset and comfortable working with people from different time zones
- Not afraid to roll your sleeves up and sell deals (we’re not looking for a desk jockey)
- Highly motivated, resilient and a self-starter
What the job involves
- You will report into our US Vice President Jeff Miller, who has over 20 years’ experience in partnering with the largest global employers and helping them improve the financial wellbeing of their workforces
- Things move fast at nudge, and we are always learning. This means we need to stay agile meaning the responsibilities of a role are never set in stone
- With significant support and budget provided to you in terms of tools, SDRs, and marketing resources, this role should be a sales paradise for you. That said, we want to maintain a scrappy start-up attitude, and you will need to overcome challenges, have the grit, determination, creativity, and market intelligence to overcome the obstacles you will find in your way
- Qualify: The Sales Development Representative (SDR) team will present you with high quality inbound and outbound leads, and using our qualification criteria, it is your responsibility to take a pragmatic view on which opportunities we should be investing our time in curating
- Nurture: Upon qualification, you will need to carefully guide your prospects through our sales process, which will involve a mix video call and telephone activities. At times, we may meet with our prospects in person too
- Close: Ultimately, the role is to close new business opportunities, and you will have the full support of the nudge team to ensure we are doing everything we can to help you win new clients
- Lead: Being on the frontline requires you to lead both internally and externally, and grow nudge's brand awareness within the US market
- Wholly own your portion of the new business number for the US quota, selling our global financial wellbeing solution to US based decision makers
- Build local alliances and partnerships with consultancies and brokerage firms
- Become an expert in global financial wellbeing, so you are best able to advise prospects on the shape of their financial wellbeing strategy
Our take
Nudge Global is a financial platform that teaches users how to manage their money better in order to achieve their financial targets. The platform is available to users via a sponsoring institution, therefore its users are usually employees of the sponsor.
By providing users with personalised guidance based on their goals, personality and lifestyle, Nudge maximises their chances of reaching their objectives. The company uses its proprietary technology that combines personal finance content, user information and behavioural psychology to send reminders and information to users, improving their financial skills and encouraging them to follow the financial plan.
Already counting the likes of Samsung, PayPal and Virgin Atlantic amongst their client base, Nudge aims to help companies improve the financial literacy of their employees as part of a wider effort to support wellbeing. With nearly 40% of adults across the OECD failing to understand a basic set of financial concepts, there is a growing need to educate individuals around their basic financial needs.
