Role
Who you are
- This role requires a creative and scrappy approach to identify decision makers as well as strong communication skills to effectively convey the partnership value proposition
- Minimum of 3 years experience successfully negotiating and closing partnerships within a B2B or B2C technology company
- Proven ability to source new partners, identify decision makers and leverage champions to build the partnership pipeline
- Strong negotiation skills, with a history of closing high-value and complex partnership deals
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Adaptable and agile, with the ability to navigate a fast-paced and evolving industry landscape
- Experience working at Series A to C startups
What the job involves
- This critical role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing partnerships with leading event organizers in the global events ecosystem
- You will work with a cross-functional group including leadership, business operations and data to structure and form fit each partnership
- Strategic Business Development: Develop and implement strategies for growth, including market analysis, partnership opportunities, and new partner acquisition
- Proposal Development and Presentation: Oversee the creation of compelling business proposals, and present them effectively to potential partners
- Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations of complex partnerships agreements ensuring favorable terms while maintaining strong relationships with partners
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with leadership, business operations, data and other departments to align partnership strategy with overall company objectives
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions

Since founding, the company has amassed a growing customer base including the likes of Paypal and Calendly, and also raised several successful funding rounds. The most recent funding will allow Vendelux to broaden its reach, enhance product development, and further diversify its customer segments.
