Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have experience with OEMs such as Dell, Pure Storage and Veeam and have a deep understanding of their alliance programs and co-sell motions
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in alliance management, business development, or a related role, preferably within high-tech
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in market analysis and performance tracking
- Ability to travel as required
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
What the job involves
- LightEdge Solutions is looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team
- You will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, enhance product offerings, and ensure successful alliance management
- Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with OEMs to expand market reach and enhance product offerings
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM partners, ensuring alignment of goals and mutual success
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and maximize the value of OEM alliances
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and legal, to ensure seamless integration and execution of OEM partnerships
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of OEM partnerships, providing regular reports and insights to senior management
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for OEM alliances
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within OEM partnerships, ensuring a positive and productive relationship
